Tidal Shift is a neutral coordination platform that helps councils, schemes and businesses move hard-to-move materials — affordably, and with the record to prove it. When distance, small volumes or empty return legs make moving materials costly, we help you bring the right carrier onto the route — one you already work with, or one we help you find — coordinate the movement, and capture verified data from pickup to destination.
We coordinate and record the movements rather than taking part in the contracts or the money flow — so you keep your own carriers, rates and relationships. The platform makes the movement work and gives you the evidence it did, built to flex to how each region operates rather than forcing one model onto it.
Multi-council pooling
Loads from several councils along a corridor are pooled into one tracked run, so a pickup too small to move on its own becomes viable shared across the corridor.
Verified operators
Carriers, processors and facilities are verified at onboarding, and listed materials are matched only to licensed operators — so regulated material moves with the right people.
Chain of custody
Every movement is recorded from pickup to destination — stop events, timestamps, photos, and reconciled counts — so the record holds up.
Reporting and exports
Operational and sustainability data, plus structured exports mapped to your state regulator's waste-tracking fields — generated as a by-product of moving the material.
Configured to local conditions
Existing backhaul, a drop-off point, a consolidation hub where one helps — the platform bends to how your region already works.
Why Tidal Shift exists
Across regional and remote Australia, the same pattern repeats. Councils know what materials need to move and where they need to go — but the freight economics don't stack up for small or irregular loads, the case for carriers to commit ongoing capacity isn't clear, and the coordination falls to already-stretched council staff.
Good efforts stall. Not for want of effort, but for want of a neutral layer to pull carriers, volumes and pathways together — and keep them there.
